Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding our market presence, and forging strategic partnerships to enhance our platform's offerings and reach.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive insights in the education and international markets.
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and prospect potential partners, including educational institutions, educational agencies, government bodies, and corporate clients, to establish new business relationships and opportunities.
  • Partnership Development: Develop and nurture strategic partnerships and alliances with key stakeholders, including universities, educational organizations, and industry associations, to enhance our platform's offerings and reach.
  • Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate partnership agreements, contracts, and terms with prospective partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives, financial goals, and legal requirements.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Drive sales and revenue growth through the acquisition of new customers, clients, and partnerships, leveraging persuasive communication, value proposition, and relationship-building skills.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners, serving as a trusted advisor and point of contact to address their needs, inquiries, and concerns.
  • Product Promotion and Demonstration: Promote our platform's products and services to prospective clients and partners through presentations, demonstrations, and other marketing materials, highlighting key features, benefits, and value proposition.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, customer service, and finance, to align business development efforts with overall business objectives and priorities.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion and diversification, including geographic expansion into new regions and segments, to drive business growth and revenue diversification.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs), sales metrics, and business development activities, preparing regular reports and updates for senior management to assess progress and inform strategic decision-making.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnership management, preferably in the education, technology, or international sectors.
  • Strong understanding of business development strategies, techniques, and best practices, with a track record of driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop innovative solutions to drive business growth.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving measurable business objectives and delivering value to clients and partners.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
